This sensitive conversion project transforms a Grade II Listed former Sunday School into eight luxury apartments, comprising a mix of one to three bedroom homes. Located just a stone’s throw from Pulteney Bridge in the heart of Bath’s UNESCO World Heritage Site, the scheme carefully preserves and celebrates the building’s historic character.

Key original features, including the distinctive school entrance, exposed roof beams, and stone window surrounds, have been thoughtfully retained and integrated into the new layout, ensuring the heritage fabric of the building remains legible throughout.

The penthouse apartment (pictured) occupies the entire top floor, nestled within the original Victorian roof structure. Its open-plan living space is elegantly zoned by a bespoke central ‘pod’ which houses a concealed pantry, laundry room and media wall, creating a sense of flow and functionality within the lofty volume.
